Job Description

Position Summary:

Ø Track all R&D / Innovation projects

Ø Will be responsible for the development of new products and modifications of existing ones.

Ø Will be responsible for several projects of different degrees of complexity.

Ø Ensures the timely completion of new product development activities.

Ø Will be supervised by Senior members of the laboratory.

Principal of Position :

Ø Pre-screen the usage of raw materials at related categories and the basic fundamentals of the technical development of new products.

Ø Setups raw material supplier visits and manage the raw material database.

Ø Leads the process of new product development to laboratory prototype submissions through first Production support.

Ø Leads all R&D milestones for assigned projects.

Ø Follow up on up-date commercially feasible new products or modifies existing ones.

Ø Performs/ leads all required testings to guarantee of a marketable final product.

Ø Ensures the stability of the formulations and commercial feasibility.

Ø Direct responsible for laboratory management of project progress. Makes recommendations for a better project follow-up.

Ø Will be in contact with all R&D departments, Marketing, QA, Planning, and Manufacturing.

Qualification of Position

Ø B.S. Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. MSc degree is an asset.

Ø Minimum 2 years of technical experience in the soap manufacturing industry.

Ø Excellent communication skills, and able to work in a multinational team environment

Ø Fluency in both written & spoken English

Ø Good knowledge of MS Office tools

Ø Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ø Industry: Soap Manufacturing Industry

Ø Willing to be based at Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru
