Job Description
The Quality Control Executive manage the Quality Control team, respond to customer complaints and provide corrective and preventive actions. Lead the in-coming, in-process and out-going quality measures and processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the quality of products comply with customer requirements
- Responsible for the quality control aspects of IQC, PQC, OQC & FA as well as the work from sub-contractors
- Collect and analyse quality data using statistical control tools
- Implement and evaluate quality strategies and system to ensure conformity of parts to quality standards
- Prepare the Corrective Action Report after consulting with the relevant departments
- Respond to Customer Issues regarding Product Quality and Quality Systems
- Conduct root cause investigations when quality issues arise, communicate, findings and train staff on improvements / preventative measures
- Establish inspection test processes
- Ensure test equipment calibration and calibration record maintenance
- Initiate and implement Continuous Improvement projects
Requirements
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO14001
- Able to perform audits
- Good supervisory, motivational, training, management and communication skills
- Able to prepare, compile and file all QA / QC documentation
- Able to control, supervise, train and lead the QA/QC team
- Able to assist technicians and Production Executive in analyzing non-compliance of specifications
- Experience with ERP System
- At least 3 years working experience in relevant field
