As the name implied, being a Customer Technical Engineer, you need to interact closely with customers and provide technical support to contract customers meeting the committed Service Level Agreement (SLA). First, you assist customers to resolve issues via phone and remote support. If problem persist, you will arrange to go on-site. Besides, you will also involve in new installation on endpoint devices and project deployment on critical systems e.g. Servers, Storage and Network equipment which managed by Technology Specialist.
What do you need to be successful?
- Minimum 2 year IT support experience
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering
- You will need to be keen in learning because there are various technology, solutions & products from multiple vendors e.g. Microsoft, HPE, DellEMC, Vmware, Veeam etc.
How can we made you more successful in this role?
- Mentor programme guided by Technology Specialist / Project Manager.
- Involve and learn in projects implementation for sizable and sophisticated project which led by dedicated Project Manager/Technology Specialist.
- Once you have sufficient experience & exposure, you will be given opportunities to deploy a smaller project with guidance from the Technology Specialist Team.
