Job Description
Responsibilities:
- To supervise a team in Accounts payable, Claims, Intercompany - AP/AR and payment functions
- Review all the invoices/claims for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Ensure correctness and completeness of work done by the team, in accordance with company policy and accounting standards
- Ensure the team meeting the month end closing timeline and submit reports timely
- Liaise with internal stakeholders from different countries and external parties – vendors, bankers and others
- To assist Accounting Manager in streamlining and standardizing process flow
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Management
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 5 years working experience in manufacturing and shared service environment
- Possess knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
- Mature personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willing to travel and accept challenging tasks
- Hands-on attitude and able to work under tight schedule.
- Positive attitude, result oriented, team player, able to interact at all levels and work independently under pressure in fast-paced and high volume environment
