Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for planning and effecting production material requirements and loadings basing on the lead time, demand, risk factors and cost to ensure the achieving of JIT (Just-In-Time)
- Responsible for controlling the production material inventory level always at an optimal level
- Responsible for tracking and expediting of the production material to ensure a smooth production process is in place
- Responsible for working closely with production personnel to ensure good and continuous material supply to achieve the on time delivery
- Responsible for ensuring a sustainable supply chain was in place through analyzing of equivalent or alternate sourcing of material with working closely with purchasing personnel
- Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the overall material and production planning and scheduling of delivery of goods
- Responsible for performing other related duties as per assignment by management from time to time
- Coordinate between External Suppliers and production to met in timely and efficient operation needs
Requirements :
- Recognized degree in Management, Engineering or any related discipline
- Minimum 2-3 years and above working experience in material and production planning in manufacturing related environment
- Possess very good and effective communication skills with all levels within the organization with strong analytical and dynamic coordination ability
- Well organized, detailed-oriented and able to work independently under pressure
- Good knowledge in MS Office application especially Excel
- Possess knowledge of computerized material requirement planning concept is an added advantage i.e. ERP, SAP
- Mature and pleasant personality with highly energetic and enthusiastic

Product & Services
Principal product lines cover the four basic assembly processes that is, die attach, wire bond, automold and trim & form. These represent 75% of the investment in an assembly facility. Assembly and packaging equipment are more dependent upon semiconductor unit volume than on chip prices. Manufacturing both stamped and etched leadframes, ASMPT has approximately a 5% world market share and is one of the worlds few integrated suppliers.
