Job Description
- To manage and inspect all incoming and outgoing goods
- Arrange domestic deliveries/export shipments meeting cost efficiency and advantageous delivery alternatives (mode of transport, route) to customers
- Familiar with transporters arrangement and shipping documentation for chemical products
- Prepare shipping/transportation documents with relevant product specifications and certificates
- Prepare relevant permit declaration, permit application with regulatory authority
- Compile, update and evaluate transporter rate, freight cost and performance
- Monitor inventory level, conduct the stock count and follow up on any discrepancy
- Product demand planning, monitor outstanding order and stock inventory update internal state holders to maximize order fulfillment
- Monitor warehouse capacity and liaise with 3PL/warehouse when necessary
- Check transporter invoice and create a Purchase requisition
- Prepare logistics reports for billing purpose – compile customer invoice with delivery order attachment
- Monitor and analyze GPS data to manage delivery efficiency, route, idle time and driver behavior
- Inspect warehouse goods and facilities are well maintain meeting safety standards
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree holder
- At least 3 – 5 years working experience in logistic/shipping
- Multilingual, good communication skills and Mandarin-speaking preferred
- Meticulous, attention to detail and good time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office and knowledge in ERP/Navision would be an advantage
- Flexible to travel within Malaysia when necessary
