Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Resonsible for timely key-in of accounting and finance data into accounting system
- Perform daily accounting activities to meet monthly closing deadlines
- Ensure payments are made promptly following the payment cycles
- Responsible for handling simple full set of accounts
- Assist in inventory and fixed assets monitoring and control
- Assist in montly closing, reconciliation, analysis and various financial reports
- Assist in audit, tax, SST and other banking matters
- Assist with admin work for accounts department e.g. general book keeping, filing etc
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by immediate superior/s
Requirements:
- Must possess a relevant certificate / Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
- Exposure and prior work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Knowledge in ERP accounting system, Accounting Standard Operating Procedures and GST will be an added advantage
- Knowledge in MS Excel, Word, ERP Accounting system, Accounting Standard Operating Procedures and Taxation will be an added advantage.
- Self motivated and with commitment to meet deadlines
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, human relations & communication skill
- Multilingual and competent in both oral and written form
- Able to work independently, a proven team player, action oriented, meticulous, able to handle multi tasks, able to work under pressure and meet closing deadline
- Possess positive attitude & aptitude
