Job Description

The Human Resource & Admin Manager will lead and direct the full functions of the Human Resources (HR) department for our manufacturing plant in JB. The HR Manager's responsibilities includes business partnering, recruitment, compensation & benefits, learning & development, payroll and enforcing company policies and practices. This role will also be required to manage the security operations of the company.
Responsibilities:
  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent management strategy
  • Provides support and guidance to HR team, management, and other employees when dealing with HR related matters.
  • Manages the full talent acquisition process, from understanding business requirements, sourcing, qualifying to on-boarding of selected candidates
  • Analyses trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive remuneration package to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Develop and implement HR and security policies and procedures
  • Manage local industrial and labour relations activities
  • Oversee security operations and expense management
  • Manage administrative function to ensure smooth operation of the company
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Diploma in Business Studies/ Administration/ Human Resources or equivalent.
  • At least 10 Years of relevant working experience in the HR field is required for this position.
  • Prior experience in managing industrial relations with statutory boards
  • Candidates with prior working experience in electronics manufacturing will be preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under pressure, organised and result-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills both vertically and horizontally
  • Knowledge in compliance with SMETA/RBA and CTPAT is an advantage.
  • As the role will be required to work with counterparts in China, ability to communicate in Mandarin will be beneficial.
