What does a Haulage Customer Service Executive job description include?
- To assist in response to all issues related to customers' enquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
- To liaise, coordinate and follow-up closely with all related internal departments to ensure customer's expectations are met and all customers' requests are completed as agreed.
- To assist in investigate on all closing time, additional, demurrage, detention or other extra charges from shipping liner or port.
- Communicate with planner and operation on any additional / amendment on their movement liaising with Customer Service.
- To ensure all ROT (Request of Transport) are arrange accordingly based on the required date except for customers with special arrangements.
Key skills and qualifications of a Haulage Customer Service Executive:
- At least 3 years of working experience is required for this position and specialised in the logistics/transportation industry is an added advantage
- Familiar with the Haulage Management System (HMS) and GPS for tracking activities.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency & ability to meet deadlines
