Job Description

 Job Descriptions.       Preparation of the group consolidated financial statements, quarterly/semi-annual reports to holding company in accordance to statutory requirements, IFRS and US GAAP.·        Ensure timely preparation of monthly management accounts.·        Review and perform financial analysis on the performance of the group.·        Responsible for group cash flow management, capital budgeting and forecasting.·        Responsible for timely reporting to the CFO of the holding company for internal management reporting purpose as well as for parent company’s periodic regulatory reporting on stock exchange.·        Responsible for monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting and variance analysis.·        Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agent, company secretaries, bankers, professional and regulatory bodies and other relevant authorities.·        Assist and support the preparation of financial reports for management decision making purpose.·        Supervise and lead the accounting team effectively.·        Implement and establish accounting procedures, policies and internal controls, corporate governance, financial and accounting best practices and processes and to ensure compliance to local statutory requirements at all times.

 Job Requirements·        Candidate must possess at least Professional Degree in Finance or Accountancy/Professional Qualification.·        Detail oriented with strong analytical mind and accounting knowledge.·        At least 3 years of accounting experience in commercial with practical experience in group account consolidated role.·        Past experience in financial services industry and/or audit experience is preferred, experience in public-listed company is an added advantage.·        An excellent knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations is required.·        Demonstrate independence in managing and develop the finance/accounting team.·        Applicant will be based in Johor Bahru.
