Job Description
Job Scope & Duties
- Receive, inspect and store all standard storeroom stock and special order parts;
- Obtain quotes and negotiate comparative prices, order parts from vendors, and work within budget constraints;
- Ensure that all inventory transactions are properly documented in accordance with standard operating procedures;
- Possess thorough knowledge of all parts in the warehouse inventory;
- Conduct complete inventories as well as weekly cycle counts;
- Operate forklift and other basic lifts and labor saving devices;
- Practice safe warehouse procedures, identify potential hazards, and recommend improvements to standard procedures;
- Issue shared equipment maintained in the storeroom;
- Maintain the storeroom in a neat and orderly;
- Perform related tasks as required.
Requirement:
- At least Diploma in Business Management or its equivalent;
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in Warehouse Operation, with at least 2 years supervisory role;
- Prior work experience in automotive / manufacturing industry will be an added advantage;
- Preferably able to converse in Mandarin due to the need to communicate with numerous Mandarin Speaking Subcontractors;
- IT literate with MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word MS Powerpoint) & familiar with ERP system (Info LN);
- Possess self-motivation, able to work under pressure with good self-initiative to take on more responsibilities.
