Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspection in accordance with documented requirements;
- Report detected nonconformity and retain affected product/material for disposition;
- Communicate any product, material or process nonconformity to Supplier Quality Engineer/IQC Supervisor;
- Assist Supplier Quality Engineer in the nonconformity investigation;
- Report on any abnormality or discrepancy relating to measuring equipment;
- Review product/material measurement and testing record prepared by IQC Inspector, QA;
- Assist IQC Supervisor in compiling LAR report, Daily buy off/inspection report and other related incoming reports;
- Assist IQC Supervisor in ensuring the proper safekeeping of golden samples of incoming materials for inspection reference;
- Assist IQC Supervisor in ensuring ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) protection is in-place;
- Participate in any special projects/programs as & when assigned by Company.
Job Requirement:
- SPM with years of experience or Diploma in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
- Preferably with 2-3 years relevant experience in a highly competitive product manufacturing environment;
- Experience in SAP database management is an added advantage;
- Experience in using CMM and measuring equipment is an added advantage;
- Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office;
- Sound knowledge of SPC, FMEA, Poka Yoke, Supplier auditing & development programs, ISO 9001, AS9100 and other established management systems will be advantageous;
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision;
- Resourceful, responsive, reliable and ability to interact with people at all levels;
- Strong interpersonal and team player;
- Written and verbal communication skills.
