Job Description
Responsibilities:
- To install, commission and service Rotork Actuators and associated equipments in the workshop or at various sites, offshore oil & gas platforms, onshore oil and gas refineries, water treatment plant, power stations and all other sites in which Rotork products are present.
- To be able to familarise quickly with existing and new product ranges and associated computer software in order to present comprehensive proposals and quotations to customers.
- To be able to visit various sites to troubleshoot actuation problems and subsequently propose solutions to contractors and end users. This includes pre-retrofit sales work such as advising and updating customers on product applications, sizing calculations and quotations.
- To be able to develop good rapport and relationship with contractors and end users at his respective areas of coverage. This is essential for effective lobbying for new and retrofitting projects.
- To be able to work independently and travel away from home frequently. To regularly attend safety and sea survival courses conducted by Oil & Gas Companies in order to have access to offshore platforms.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Preferably Graduate specializing in Engineering - Electrical or equivalent. Job role in Electrical Engineer or Others.
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
