Job Description
This position is primarily responsible to ensure sufficient inventory is planned and meet customer demand.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Responsible to plan monthly production schedule and prepare multiple scenarios to ensure sufficient supply quantity to meet customer requirement.
- To co-ordinate and perform inventory holding analysis for finish goods and liaise with respective department to reduce the aging/slow moving/excess stock. Discuss with sales department on the disposition and check on the possibility to sell to customer.
- Monitor production performance and liaise with respective department to resolve any issues related to customer demand.
- Liaises with sales division to determine customer requirements and liaise with relevant department to comply with customer demand.
- Develop planning and inventory strategy and propose the best practice.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Degree in Business/ Supply Chain Management or other equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in Supply Chain management – Production Scheduling/Planning
- Working experience in packaging industry or manufacturing will be a definite advantage.
- Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel & MS Power Point).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
