Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement Safety and Health Management System
• Monitor and ensure company’s conformance with applicable legislation requirement of OSHA, FMA, BOMBA etc"
• Ensure the safety standards are maintained, implemented to best practice at all times and continually seek improvement in safety standards
• Conduct accident investigation, identify the root cause and advise the corrective and preventive actions
• Carry out workplace inspection to detect unsafe condition, unsafe behavior and unhealthy working condition
• Support and guide Safety & Health Committees to carry out periodic workplace inspection
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Safety Report for Management review and relevant authorities
• Ensure the Fire Cert and Certificate of Fitness renew before permit expire
• Conduct safety awareness training periodically
• Perform any other safety and health duties assigned by the superior

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• At least Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Possess valid green book (MUST)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Manufacturing Sector
• Good knowledge and experience to liaise with all relevant authorities
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Effective interpersonal skills with strong ability to work independently with all level of management and employees
• Responsible and reliable
