Job Description

Job Description:

1.    To assist QA Manager lead integration of the current quality assurance and food safety processes into one integrated process. This includes HACCP system, regulatory audits, quality systems review process (QSR), standard operating procedures (SOP’s), incoming ingredient inspections, product scoring, food safety audits, field and customer complaints, standardized work instructions.

2.    To ensure and support an environment of continuous improvement within the assigned area and develop awareness for product and production quality.

3.    Oversee daily laboratory operations and product quality to ensure compliance and interactions with the regulatory bodies.

4.    To involve and work with other departments to develop continuous improvement programs, focusing on improving quality, safety, cost and delivery of factory operations.

5.    To monitor and upkeep the cleanliness of daily operation - laboratory included the surrounding area, manage pest control program etc.

6.    Coordinate documentation control and contribute to ensuring quality procedures are up-to-date, complete and properly followed, and coordinate any modifications in compliance with certification standards and company guidelines.

7.    To support & assist matters related to government agencies and local authorities such as KKM, JAKIM and other local government sectors.

Job Requirement:

1.    Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical, Biology, or equivalent.

2.    Minimum 2 years of working experience in Food & Beverage industry.

3.    Good knowledge and previous experience with FSSC 22000 system, food safety audits and lab testing are an advantage

4.    Registered Food Analyst

5.    Must possess effective communication, interpersonal, team-building skills at various levels with other departments.

6.    Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently.

7.    Good data analysis skills and statistical techniques

8.    Applicants must be willing to work in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru.
