Job Description
Education:-
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in purchasing.
Skills:-
- Good knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Excel, Words, ERP, SAP)
- Good communication and organizational skills and able to multi tasks.
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
- Able to gather and analyze data.
- Willing to learn, able to work under stress.
- A good team player and results oriented.
Experience:-
- Experience in procurement for steel fabrication and manufacturing industry.
- Possess knowledge in ISO 9001 : 2015, knowledge in ISO 14001 & 45001 will consider as advantage.
Areas of Responsibility:-
- Sourcing corresponding with suppliers for quotations, preparing purchase orders and performing buying duties.
- Maintaining databases such as records of materials, prices, inventories and deliveries.
- Communicating with all department representatives for purchasing request.
- Other ad-hoc tasks pertaining to purchasing department duties as requested by the superior.
