Job Description
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedule.
- Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
- Requires contact with external customers or public ( face-to-face, by telephone or otherwise )
- Requires use of electronic mail, tele-conversation
- Requires making decisions that impact the results of co-workers, clients or the company
- Requires meeting strict deadlines
- Requires coordinating or leading others in accomplishing work activities
