Job Description
The Production Manager is responsible for the production operations, ensuring production deliveries are achieved, policies and procedures are followed, lead continuous processes improvement, maximize operational control, safety, quality and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Manage the department work force and equipment to meet production goals
- Ensure that production stays on schedule and within budget
- Hire, train, and evaluate department work force to ensure they meet performance requirements
- Assess and create solutions to address production issues and/or to improve efficiency.
- Monitor quality standards and address issues
- Ensure safety standards and safety regulations are enforced and followed
Requirements
- 10 years experience in the manufacturing industry
- 5 years managing production function in the manufacturing industry
- Experience in client facing work
- Experience in working with suppliers
- Working knowledge in process improvement
- Working knowledge with Quality Systems
- Familiar with ISO9001 and ISO14001
