Job Description
Job Scope & Duties:
- Responsible for sourcing, cost and credit terms negotiations for buying of raw materials.
- Responsible to plan, source and develop an alternative or new potential supplier.
- To establish cost down strategy such as source alternative grade of materials, manage delivery lead time and good service.
- Follow up outstanding Purchase Order and expedite delivery of goods.
- Responsible to monitor and evaluate suppliers such as product quality, delivery service and support.
- Review inventories quantity and order as required.
- Interact with the suppliers on a day-to-day basis.
- Review deliveries against the orders.
- Track the status of any orders.
- Deal with non-supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods.
- Ensure that all purchase invoices are sent to accounts department for payment processing on a timely basis.
- Prepare and maintain all required reports within the department and requested from other department.
- Manage any other procurement activities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or its equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicant must be willing to work in SEELONG, SENAI.
