Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of timely monthly financial and management reports;
- Perform detailed analytical of monthly financials and profitability of business units;
- Perform costing and margin analysis on certain product line;
- Actively engage with the operation team to discuss and provide advice (where appropriate) on issue with Accounting impact;
- Assist in the preparation of annual budget and rolling forecasts;
- Ensure effective financial control of operations by monitoring and overseeing the use of control systems, procedures and mechanisms;
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, listing rules and other regulatory requirements;
- Maintain good effective relationships with external and internal auditors;
- Manage a small team of accounting personnel;
- Participate in any special projects/programs as and when assigned by Company.
Job Requirements:
- Preferably with degree in Accounting or its equivalent;
- Posses 8-10 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 yrs in managerial capacity;
- Working experience in an international accounting firm and / or manufacturing environment would be preferred;
- Able to grasp business logic, and apply to accounting and operational situations.
- SAP or other ERP system knowledge;
- Good team player, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact at all levels;
- Strong leadership qualities and initiative;
- Hands-on, meticulous and keen eye for details;
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently;
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
