Job Description
- Draft, review, and advice on various contracts/letters relating to the construction and engineering industry including commercial contracts;
- Liaise with external legal counsels where applicable;
- Provide advice and review on the company’s business processes in line with compliance requirements;
- Performing various tasks related to the legal and compliance matters of the company;
- Keep abreast of the latest law and keep the management informed on the same;
- Attend and represent the company on legal matters;
- Assist on the company secretarial matters where applicable;
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
Job Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Law or equivalent.
- At least 1 Year(s) of working experience, preferably been called to the Malaysian Bar;
- Knowledge of the construction and engineering industry, contract and commercial law will be an added advantage;
- Required Skill(s): Business writing, Microsoft Office;
- Able to work within tight deadlines and willing to travel when required.
