Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for Human Resource functions such as payroll, employment contract, staff claims, overtime, staff welfare, performance appraisal training, administration, interviews, initial orientation and etc.
  • Monitors employees' disciplinary issues, e.g. follow up show cause, warning and termination. Conduct counselling, manage any performance and disciplinary issues when necessary.
  • Ensure timely compliance with local statutory payments & Government reporting such as income tax, EPF, SOCSO.
  • To monitor employees' leave and Medical Claims to ensure there is no abuse.
  • Maintain employee records (Personal particulars, leaves, absences, etc) and ensure such record are kept up-dated. Maintain a good filling system.
  • Responsible for the employees' Group Personal Accident and Hospitalization insurance issues such as renewal and claim.
  • To assist and support HR Manager in planning and implementation of policies that adheres to company and group objectives.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks pertaining to HR/Admin as and needed.
  • Working knowledge of Industrial Relations practice, labour law and government regulations.
  • Oversee daily operation of the HR department.
  • Handling of general office maintenance & administrative work as when required.

Requirements for the role :

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree of Human Resources Management, Business Administrative or any relevant field.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Resourceful, trustworthy and good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as a team player.
  • Excellent organizational skill and able to work under pressure.
  • Independent, resourceful and responsible, good interpersonal, oriented team player with good interpersonal skills & communication skills.
  • Well versed in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
