Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Server administration - Manage and upkeep server, perform daily and monthly backup, monitor WSUS to ensure computer windows are always synchronized.
- Endpoint protection and security - Ensure all computers are always connected with Tend Micro Apex One Endpoint Antivirus and up-to-date, monitor computer activities especially illegal software installation.
- Firewall and Router/Modem - Monitor firewall and network usage, reconfigure if needed, monitor end user IP and illegal access from time to time.
- System support - Support internal departments system technically including installation, reinstallation, upgrade, reconfiguration and resolve any other technical issues reported by end users.
- Cisco Application - Ensure all users at State Level can connect to Jabber server and able to run Cisco Web Conferencing application, troubleshoot relevant problems and provide manual instruction to end users.
- Technical Support - Troubleshoot computer and network problems, install new LAN if needed, upgrade RAM and hardisk, provide IP address to new joiner/ new printer and any other IT relevant technical support.
- Assist in any other adhoc tasks which might be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or any other relevant studies.
- At least two (2) to three (3) years of experience in related field.
- Familiar with LAN environment with hardware/ peripheral maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work under minimum supervision and deal with deadlines.
