Job Description

The main tasks of the personnel/incumbent will be to establish and maintain the upfront sale support activity of the company as well as to train local employees on engineering and costing techniques. He will be responsible for the quality of tools in accordance with ISO quality standard certification.

1.   Analysis on new request for quotation (RFQ) package from customer on plastic tooling. Provide technical information for the package to prepare mould parts costing.

2.   Prepare tooling costing for RFQ package.

3.   Liaise with oversea engineering teams for new project tooling.

4.   With team of designer, prepare DFM on new tooling for customer approval.

5.   Obtain customer purchase order. Prepare tooling specification for new tools.

6.   With customer approved DFM to proceed with new tooling design.

7.   Liaise with engineering teams and customer to resolve technical issue for new tools design and obtain approval for fabrication.

• Project management, costing and manufacturing cost control.
• R&D development and new production tooling and parts sourcing.
• Technical knowledge in tooling and manufacturing processes (Machining, Metal stamping, Plastic molding).
