Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- To plan, organise, direct and monitor all production activities of the plant's resources and meet established production specification and schedules, volume, cost and wastage control, and quality standards.
- Manage production schedules, procedures and capital resource to maximise productivity.
- Analyse production line, quality performance, maintenance and malfunction records to identify problems, and execute corrective actions to improve production and product consistency and minimise downtime.
- Liaise with internal Workgroup/ Sales/ Operations department to understand their current and future product requirements and develop plans, cost estimates and schedules to integrate these requirements into existing production activities.
- Lead and manage production staff.
- Responsible for ensuring Agreements with Suppliers/ Vendors are negotiated and confirmed, and materials are received and processed in Just-In-Time principle.
- Responsible for Supplier and Customer audit compliance to qualify accreditation for different product lines.
- Manage compliance for Halal, Food Safety, ISO standards and Plant Safety procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in any field. (Education background in Food Technology will be added advantage).
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in a factory manufacturing /operations environment.
- Preferably Managers specializing in Manufacturing/ Production Operations or equivalent.
- Candidates with solid work experience in Quality Control, Logistic/ Warehousing and Maintenance are encouraged to apply.
- Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese.
- Must be willing to work outstation.
- Applicants must be willing to work at our factory in Tangkak, Johor.
